San Diego Padres relief pitcher Drew Pomeranz (shoulder) is expected to go on a rehab assignment before rejoining the big league roster. He has been sidelined since the middle of May due to a shoulder impingement. The Padres are hopeful that Pomeranz will be ready to return before the end of June. Pomeranz was pitching extremely well before he landed on the injured list. He should return to pitching in high leverage situations in San Diego by the end of the month.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
