The second-place finish for Chase Elliott was a nice follow-up to his road win at Texas. The Hendrick Motorsports Racing driver was probably the second-fastest driver on the track on Sunday. He still finished more than ten seconds behind Kyle Larson. That being said, Elliott was able to hold off Kyle Busch which was not easy. The key for Elliott was narrowing the points gap between himself and Denny Hamlin -- who finished seventh on Sunday. Sonoma sets up rather well for Elliott next week. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
