It was one crazy, rainy afternoon but Chase Elliott survived and found a way to lead at the right time at Circuit Of The Americas. The Hendrick Motorsports Racing driver only had to run 54 of the scheduled 68 laps. With all the standing water on the track and expected worsening conditions, the race had to be called. Elliott simply happened to be at the right position on the track -- the front. It was his sixth win in the No. 9's last 11 road races but probably the most unexpected win.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
