The only two top-tens-on-road courses for Michael McDowell are from the Daytona road course in 24 career races. He took his No.34 Ford around the track in just under 160 seconds which was almost 2.2 seconds behind William Byron. It will be interesting to see how McDowell fares in qualifying and ultimately racing in Sunday's EchoPark Texas Grand Prix.
