Donovan Mitchell Will Miss At Least Five More Games
Donovan Mitchell (ankle) was evaluated by the team's medical staff Saturday and it was determined that the All-Star will remain sidelined for at least the next week, putting him on the sidelines for the next five contests. Jordan Clarkson stands to continue seeing an elevated offensive role, while Joe Ingles has entered the starting five and averaged 14.3 points and 6.3 assists while shooting 40.3 percent from behind the arc over his last seven games. Mitchell has been in the midst of a career year, with his 26.4 points and 5.2 assists per contest on track for new career highs. He'll have a small window of opportunity to return prior to the close of the regular season, but his upside keeps him in consideration for those season-long managers with an IR spot available.
