DraftKings EuroLeague DFS Lineup Picks for 4/23/21 - Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Mike Marteny offers his DraftKings daily fantasy EuroLeague basketball plays and sleepers for 4/23/21. His EuroLeague DFS lineup picks and sleepers will help you win on DraftKings.

The 3-6 and 4-5 playoff matchups are both at 2-0 in their respective best-of-five series. Will the 2-7 and 1-8 follow suit? Barcelona dropped the opener at home. In 44 total best-of-five series in the EuroLeague playoffs, only the 2009 Barcelona team was able to go on to win the series after dropping the opener at home. It's now an uphill climb for the favorites. CSKA is going for it's 17th Final Four berth in the last 18 seasons.

Jan Vesely will be back for Game 3 next week, but his status for Game 2 is still undecided after he missed Game 1 on Wednesday. Nikola Milutinov, Mateusz Ponitka, and Arturas Gudaitis are the only players confirmed out so far. Dyshawn Pierre missed because of COVID protocols on Wednesday, so it's likely he is out once again. This is one that you definitely want to keep an eye on.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy EuroLeague lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/23/21. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard, forward, and center, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings EuroLeague DFS Guards

Nando de Colo, Fenerbahce ($11,200)

Nando has not been under 20 DraftKings points since round 18 against Belgrade and has only been under 30 three times since then. As expected, Nando was a monster in Game 1 with Mike James not on the other side. He racked up 41.5 DraftKings points even though his team lost by 16 points. That's unusual in this series of late. Win or lose, I expect Nando to have another big game. He will likely be the highest scorer on the entire slate.

Daniel Hackett, CSKA ($7,400)

Hackett was able to start in Game 1, and he put up the type of production that you might expect from James. Hackett went for 33.75 DraftKings points in only 26 minutes. He should lead the charge once again for CSKA in Game 2. Seeing Hackett's contributions in Game 1, it made us realize just how limited Iffe Lundberg really is for fantasy purposes. Hackett has no issues getting his own shot and making the most of them. He's an absolute bargain at this price.

Janis Strelnieks, CSKA ($4,800)

The last two rounds of the regular season were an audition of sorts for Strelnieks. He seems to have surpassed Darrun Hilliard in the pecking order, and for good reason. Strelnieks put up a solid 13.75 DraftKings points in Game 1. His contributions aren't so much from scoring as they are from the other peripheral numbers. That gives him a much safer floor than Hilliard. Strelnieks could end up stealing more minutes if Lundberg continues to struggle as well. Strelnieks wont break a slate, but he also wont torpedo your lineup. We can't say that for all value plays.

Also consider: Kevin Pangos, St. Petersburg ($9,700); Marko Gurduric, Fenerbahce ($7,300); Cory Higgins, Barcelona ($7,200); Leandro Bolmaro, Barcelona ($4,000)

DraftKings EuroLeague DFS Forwards

Nikola Mirotic, Barcelona ($10,800)

A lackluster game one caused Mirotic's price to plummet, but I see him bouncing back here. If Barcelona is going to buck the trend of home teams losing Game 1, it will be because Mirotic is aggressive. He was not in Game 1 and the favorites struggled to get anything going. I don't see a slate-breaking number since St. Petersburg is the second-best defense in the EuroLeague after Barcelona, but Mirotic is too good to be shut down over the entire series.

Johannes Voigtmann, CSKA ($8,900)

The CSKA frontcourt is loaded, which is a good thing because their guards aren't. Voigtmann picked up a double-double for the first time since Round 17. I wouldn't say that the CSKA frontcourt situation is settled, but it seems clear that Michael Eric wont get a lot of minutes if everyone else is producing. Clyburn still has the higher upside, but Voigtmann has been more consistent over the last month.

Kyle O'Quinn, Fenerbahce ($7,700)

Jan Vesely is out for Fenerbahce for Game 1 and is likely to miss Game 2 as well. O'Quinn will pick up the slack again. O'Quinn, after not finding work in the states, migrated over to Istanbul in February and has been a huge pickup for Fenerbahce. The team is now running him about 25 minutes a game, and O'Quinn is proving to be a capable stat sheet stuffer on this side of the pond. Even with the $1000 price hike, O'Quinn is a no-brainer if Dyshawn Pierre is also out for this game. O'Quinn's ceiling is higher than anyone with the possible exception of Mirotic.

Also consider: Will Clyburn, CSKA ($9,500); Will Thomas, St. Petersburg ($7,500); Danilo Barthel, Fenerbahce ($5,500); Andrey Zubkov, St. Petersburg ($4,700)
