Thunder Dan Palyo's MLB Strikeout Prop Bets Today: Best Pitcher K Props (4/24/2026)

Nathan Eovaldi - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, MLB Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Today's best MLB strikeout prop bets and pitcher K props for Friday, April 24. Thunder Dan Palyo's expert MLB player prop picks, betting odds, and advanced stat analysis to help you win.

It's a funky Friday for strikeout props, with me - the guy who hates betting unders - finding myself on more of them than overs. But we'd be foolish not to follow the data, and that's where it's pointing me today!

I'll offer up a few of my top picks here today, but you'll need to grab a premium pass to see all five of my favorite K prop wagers. Our top MLB writers are posting their favorite props in Discord daily, so gain additional access to those picks as well with a premium RotoBaller membership.

In this article, I'll provide my favorite prop bets for MLB games on Friday, April 24, 2026. Odds will change during the day, so lock in those bets as early as possible and always shop for the best number across multiple sportsbooks or prediction markets! High-Confidence Strikeout Picks

Nathan Eovaldi OVER 5.5 strikeouts (+104 FanDuel)

Eovaldi is the one high-K arm that I have some confidence in for an over bet today. Despite getting roughed up a bit in his last start against Seattle, Eovaldi is still sporting a 24% and a strong underlying 14.8% SwStr%.

His SIERA is a full run and a half lower than his ERA, and he's already had some success against this Athletics lineup, striking out seven over seven strong frames just 11 days ago.

He now has 6+ strikeouts in three of his first five starts. I like him to bounce back here today and pitch well. He just needs to avoid a big inning early that would run his pitch count up, and I think he can get us six strikeouts if he lasts five or six innings.

Paul Skenes UNDER 6.5 strikeouts (+100 FanDuel)

As a Pirates fan, this one hurts, but I think it's the right play. Skenes has been solid after his rocky debut against the Mets, but he has yet to crack seven strikeouts in any of his five starts this year. He was tracking well in his last start against Tampa, before having his outing shortened by a rain delay, but his overall numbers are still pretty underwhelming (26% K%, 11.3% SwStr%) when compared to what we saw from him in his first two seasons.

The Brewers are a tough matchup. We saw them hold their own against Tarik Skubal yesterday, and they'll likely send five lefties to the plate against Skenes today. That's a problem for Skenes as he's been very "normal" against lefties this season with a 22% vs. LHH.
