Tonight's slate is loaded with a ton of stacks with high projected implied run totals. The weather has no spots that stand out as good-hitting weather, yet there are plenty of options on that side of the ball. Because of that, this slate is going to be won by fading some of the chalkier offenses and pivoting to the second-tier offense with ceiling. That is what we will discuss in todays article.

Top MLB DFS Pitcher for DraftKings, FanDuel
Freddy Peralta, SP - NYM ($8.8K DK/$8.6K FD)
Freddy Peralta is the stand-alone top option on tonight's slate on the bump, and for me, it is not close. He gets a dream matchup with the Colorado Rockies in their first game after a long home stand in Coors. For those of you who don't know, the Coors effect, after a team leaves after playing there for a while, is a real thing.
Second, the matchup here for Peralta is incredible. This season, he has a 3.79 xFIP, 27.3% xK%, 12.7% SwStr%, 1.09 WHIP, and a 1.35 HR/9. He is projected to have 6.22 strikeouts in this matchup tonight with a 27.8%K%.
This season, the Rockies have a 25.3% K%, a .697 OPS, and an 83 wRC+ against RHP. Over their L14, they have a 25.3% K%, .699 OPS, and an 86 wRC+. This includes there seven game home stand they just played. The Rockies have a 3.5 implied run total in my model, which is tied for the lowest on tonight's slate.

Texas Rangers (Model Projected IRT (Implied Run Total)- 5.0) vs. Luis Severino
The Rangers look great in this spot for me against a struggling Luis Severino. Severino this season has allowed a 4.80 xFIP, 1.70 WHIP, 1.46 HR/9, and a 35.5% Hard Hit%. He is throwing strikes at only a 58.7% clip and is a main reason he is allowing so many baserunners.
This Rangers team is heating up against RHP. This season, they have a .758 OPS and a 114 wRC+, but over their last 14, they have improved to a .806 OPS and a 128 wRC+ against the split. The Rangers have a 5.0 implied run total on tonight's slate in my model.

Top MLB DFS Hitter for DraftKings, FanDuel
Munetaka Murakami, 1B - CHW ($5.4K DK/$3.8K FD)
It's hard to ignore what Murakami is doing at the moment, and tonight he gets another great matchup tonight against Miles Mikolas. Mikolas has allowed a .476 SLG, 9.1% Brl%, and a 45.5% Hard Hit% to LHH this season. Over his last 20 PA, Murakami is slashing .500/.600/1.063 with a 1.663 OPS against RHP. He is going to leave the yard again tonight.
