Former Cincinnati Bengals cornerback William Jackson agreed to a three-year deal worth around $14 million annually with the Washington Football Team on Tuesday, according to a source. The 28-year-old was the 24th overall pick in the 2016 draft and spent his first five seasons with the Bengals. He was a full-time starter for each of the last three years after missing his entire rookie season after tearing his pectoral muscle in the preseason. Over the last three seasons, Jackson started 43 of his 44 games, recording an interception each in 2019 and 2020 and a total of 27 pass breakups. He had a career-high 45 tackles, one interception and 11 passes defensed in 14 starts in 2020. A lack of big plays (just three picks) has made him mostly a disappointing former first-rounder.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
