Buffalo Sabres center Jack Eichel was announced as a late scratch due to a lower-body injury ahead of his team's matchup with the New Jersey Devils on Thursday night. The 24-year-old skated for 17:31 of ice time throughout the entire contest and logged an assist in the Sabres win over the Devils on Tuesday. Eichel hasn't quite looked like himself through 16 games this season, logging 14 points (two goals, 12 assists), a minus-six rating and 50 shots.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
