Mitchell Trubisky Fumble Spoils Solid Day
Mitchell Trubisky completed 26-of-34 passes for 267 yards, one touchdown and one costly fumble in the Bears 34-30 loss to the Lions in Week 13. The Bears offense moved the chains throughout the game in perhaps its best offensive effort of the season. But with the Bears backed up on the field with under two minutes to play, Trubisky was stripped and lost the football resulting in a Lions recovery. Detroit scored two plays later and a valiant effort by Trubisky to lead the Bears down the field was wiped away after a failed 4th-and-1 attempt in the red zone. Trubisky will garner fringe fantasy appeal in two-quarterback leagues next week against the Texans.
