Running back Jordan Howard cleared waivers Tuesday after being released by the Miami Dolphins, as he is now free to sign wherever he chooses. Despite having rushed for four touchdowns this season due to his presence as a goal line specialist for the Dolphins, Howard averaged just 1.2 yards per carry across five games this year. Assuming that another organization utilizes him in a similar fashion, Howard could have some season-long appeal in deep leagues where fantasy managers are desperate for TD production. While Howard has not yet been linked to any team in particular, the fact that he was bypassed by the remaining 31 teams while on the waiver wire does not portend to a quick signing and activation. He'll be a name to keep an eye on, albeit he can remain on the waiver wire for the time being.--Jesse BorekRead More News
