The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Saturday that they have placed 12 of their practice squad players on the league’s reserve/COVID-19 list ahead of Sunday’s contest against Detroit. At this point, there’s no reason to believe that the game between the Lions and Jaguars is in jeopardy, as Jacksonville is reportedly making the move as a precaution. The nature of the reserve list doesn’t require a player to test positive for COVID-19, but can also be utilized for those who were in close contact with persons who have contracted the virus.
