Los Angeles Angels DH and starting pitcher Shohei Ohtani (forearm) is expected to return as the team’s primary DH on Thursday. Ohtani probably won’t pitch again in 2020, and his full-time return to the lineup bumps Justin Upton to the bench with Jo Adell claiming a spot in the Los Angeles outfield. Although the effective lack of pitching eligibility dents Ohtani’s fantasy value, the 26-year-old is a more than rosterable hitter as long as his forearm allows him to hit without discomfort. With a .833 OPS, 22 stolen bases, and a rock-solid plate approach over his first two MLB seasons, Ohtani should remain rostered in all leagues despite his injury.--Sam Chinitz
