The NFL Players Association told its players on Tuesday that there will be zero preseason games in 2020, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport. The league wanted to play two preseason games this year, while the NFLPA was set on zero games amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The NFLPA is also pushing for a longer ramp-up period for players to physically acclimate to training camp demands and expects rosters to stand at 80 players per team. The NFL hasn't signed off on an 80-man roster for training camp. The main economics of the season still need to be figured out between the two sides.
