Twenty-seven-year-old Philadelphia native Kyle Daukaus (9-0) makes his UFC debut this Saturday against a tough opponent in Brendan Allen. Daukaus, like Allen, typically finishes bouts. Eight of his nine victories are by way of finish, and submissions at that. Very dangerous on the ground, five of those eight submissions are by D'Arce choke, while the other three are rear-naked chokes. The former CFFC middleweight champion defeated Michael Lombardo of American Top Team on the Contender Series back in June of 2019. Since then, Daukaus pulled off two D'Arce chokes on the regional scene. Allen is comfortable on the ground, but that may not be a place he wants to go with such a talented grappler as Daukaus.--Matt Bricker
