Dewayne Dedmon Compiles Double-Double In Rare Start
Sacramento Kings center Dewayne Dedmon entered the starting five for the first time since Oct. 28 during Wednesday’s loss to the Detroit Pistons and promptly notched his second double-double of the season. With Marvin Bagley unavailable, Dedmon took on a prominent role down low, collecting 13 points on 6-for-13 shooting, while adding in a team-high 10 rebounds. His role is likely to be reduced once Bagley returns, but Sacramento could also have used the contest as a showcase ahead of the Trade Deadline. The Bulls, whom the Kings face Friday, have struggled mightily to slow opposing centers this year, which could make Dedmon a solid low-priced DFS option if Bagley remains out of the mix.
