New York Islanders center Mathew Barzal registered a goal and a primary assist in his team's 3-2 overtime defeat of the visiting St. Louis Blues on Monday afternoon. The 22-year-old saved his production for late in the contest in this one - burying the game-tying goal with just 27 seconds remaining and then setting up defenseman Devon Toews with the game-winning goal just 1:13 into the overtime frame. With four points (one goal, three assists) through his first six games, Barzal is out to prove that his sophomore, 62-point season was simply a mirage. The 2017-2018 Calder Trophy winner is one of the most electrifying centers in the game today and will be counted on to provide elite production throughout his third NHL season. He'll look to extend his current point streak to three games when he takes on the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
