Dwayne Haskins Throws Two Picks In Preseason Opener
5 years agoWashington Redskins quarterback Dwayne Haskins completed eight of 14 pass attempts for 117 yards in Thursday's preseason opener against Cleveland. He added 17 rushing yards on two attempts, but he was also sacked twice and threw two interceptions. Haskins saw the most work of any Redskins quarterback, which is not surprising given his lack of NFL experience and the coaching staff's eagerness to see what they might have in the rookie. He didn't do himself any favors with the two turnovers, so it will be interesting to see if he's given another extended look in the second game. Either way, his fantasy value doesn't take much of a hit as a result of his outing on Thursday, as he came into training camp with little more than an outside shot at starting in Week 1 anyway.
