The Philadelphia Phillies placed Jay Bruce (oblique) on the 10-Day Injured List on Wednesday with a right oblique strain. The team recalled Nick Williams from Triple-A to take his spot on the roster. Bruce left Tuesday's game with the injury and was initially listed as day-to-day until Wednesday's move to the Injured List. Bruce has had a solid stint with the Phillies since joining the team in June. He has 10 home runs in 33 games with the Phillies this year and 24 on the season as a whole.
