Dodgers Being Cautious With David Freese
Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that first baseman David Freese (knee) is dealing with some knee soreness and the team is being cautious with the 36-year-old. Freese wasn't in the lineup on Monday but was available off the bench. As a utility corner infielder for the Blue this year, Freese is hitting a nice .293/.412/.576 with six long balls, 24 runs and 19 RBI in 99 at-bats. He's mostly useful in NL-only and DFS leagues when he's facing a left-hander. Freese has always been known as a lefty killer, although he's hitting .255 (14-for-55) against them this season with three home runs and six RBI.
