Stewart-Haas Racing driver Kevin Harvick will start fifth in Sunday's Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway after posting a best speed of 182.741 mph in qualifying. He was 13th among all drivers in Best 10 Consecutive Laps with an average speed of 178.245 mph. In 35 career starts on the Charlotte tri-oval he has been to Victory Lane on three occasions, posting eight top-5 finishes, 16 top-10 showings, 528 laps led and an Average-Finish Position of 15.5. After failing to lead a lap in five straight races from March 10-April 7, and a total of just 31 laps in an eight-race span, Happy was out front for 105 laps at Kansas, and 33 laps in the All-Star race.
