Joe Gibbs Racing driver Denny Hamlin was involved in an accident in Sunday's GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway, limiting his day to just 23 completed laps and a dismal 36th-place finish. It was easily his worst finish of the season, as his previous low was 11th at Atlanta. He ended a six-race run of seventh or better, including top-5 showings in each of his past four starts. He'll try and rebound in Dover next Sunday. Hamlin has never won at DIS in 26 career starts, posting a 17.4 Average-Finish Position with 11 of his finishes 10th or better and 276 laps led.--Daniel DobishRead More News
