Vancouver Canucks center Brandon Sutter (groin) was placed on the injured reserve list on Monday due to a groin injury. He will not be eligible to return until at least Feb. 21, although head coach Travis Green made it seem like it could be longer. Green said Sutter is "going to be out a little while." Sutter also missed 30 games earlier this season due to a shoulder injury. It's likely center Adam Gaudette slides into Sutter's spot. He has posted three goals with seven points and one game-winning tally across 32 games with a minus-2 rating.--Daniel Dobish
