Vancouver Canucks defenseman Alexander Edler failed to register a point or shot in Vancouver's victory on Thursday night but did record six blocks and a season-high 11 hits. His hit total was the second highest single-game mark for any player this season and highlights how valuable Edler continues to be for periphery categories. He also leads the league with 3.1 blocks per game, while managing a productive 14 points in 25 games. Edler is only owned in 37% of Yahoo! leagues, so he may be available, and if your league counts hits and blocks, he needs to be rostered.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
