Florida Panthers center Henrik Borgstrom won't be with the team come opening night, as he was sent down to the AHL. Borgstrom, who was Florida's first-round pick of the 2016 NHL Draft, logged his first four games in the league last season, scoring his first goal in the regular season finale, and there were hopes that he would crack the roster straightaway for 2018-19, but that won't be happening. However, according to head coach Bob Boughner, Borgstrom could be back in the NHL very soon. The 21-year-old Finn posted 23 goals and 52 points in 40 games for the University of Denver last season before signing an entry-level contract with the Panthers. Forwards Dryden Hunt and Juho Lammikko, as well as defenseman Ian McCoshen were also sent down.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
