Juan Soto Doesn't Start Sunday, Mark Reynolds Bats Cleanup

Washington Nationals outfielder and top prospect Juan Soto won't be starting on Sunday despite his extraordinary month-long jump from High-A to the MLB. Matt Adams will start in left field instead with Mark Reynolds manning first base and batting cleanup. The omission isn't surprising given that the Nationals face a lefty, Dodgers starter Alex Wood. Reynolds has gone 4-for-10 in the four games he's played since being called up himself last weekend and delivered a two-out RBI double on Saturday. But Soto won't ride the bench for long. He's too good a talent to not play every day. Look for him to come up in a pinch-hit situation sometime Sunday.
