DraftKings & FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (11/21/16): NBA DFS Advice

It doesn't matter what DFS tournaments you prefer, this article will cover the value plays, must-plays, and mid-range options that should help you win a little extra cash to make those holiday deals even sweeter. Today I will give you one big DFS advice column, providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 11/21/16.

I will advise on any value picks, mid-range prices, and must-play options for guards, forwards, and centers. The lower-priced players do come with risk so be wary when trying to save up for superstars. Sometimes it is better to use the money you would normally spend up with to create more consistency throughout the rest of your lineup. I try to only advise players I believe will outperform expectations - and the players I advise are players in my lineup so if it all goes downhill, I'll be tumbling down right next to you. Let's get rolling...

DFS Guards for DraftKings & FanDuel

Patty Mills – PG, vs DAL (DK:$3,700 / FD:$3,800)

I had to give the edge to Patty Mills although Tony Parker is slightly more consistent. Seeing how bad the Mavericks have started this season, I'm going with the team that will clearly win, and a point guard that should feast on the garbage time that I'm optimistic will come. If you can afford to get Parker, he should be another fine play. Mills is really cheap tonight, and I'm going to go with my gut that says the Spurs beat the Mavericks handily and Mills gets plenty of minutes. He has a lethal shot and is one of the better backup point guards. The only thing he needs to excel is with the minutes.

Bradley Beal – SG, vs. PHO (DK:$6,000 / FD:$6,200)

Bradley Beal is coming of a 34 point game where he shot 12-for-26 from the field. While a game like that seems unlikely, Beal should have low ownership with a high ceiling against a weak matchup. Wall has been playing as good as ever and the Wizards scorers are benefiting from his ability to find them with ease. Beal is an athletic scorer and against a high volume of shots the Suns take, this game will be a shooting bonanza. Beal will not be the only Wizard you should have in your lineup.

Isaiah Thomas – PG, @ MIN (DK:$7,900 / FD:$8,200)

Isaiah Thomas has lived up to expectations and proven to be an unstoppable offensive force for the Celtics. With a healthy Celtics team, the entire team should see slight increases against the Timberwolves. If Thomas is guarded by Rubio, he's golden. If he pulls Lavine or Kris Dunn, I still feel comfortable with Thomas. I see this being a defining game for Thomas early in the season. His usage may not take a hit with Al Horford and Jae Crowder returning but his efficiency should increase.

DFS Forwards for DraftKings & FanDuel

JaMychal Green – PF, @ CHA (DK:$3,800 / FD:$4,200)

This will be a defensive matchup but JaMychal Green has shown some touch after making the most of his 28 minutes against the Timberwolves. He is one of the more versatile bigs on the Grizzlies and his thrives in the defense first system. The Hornets front court will have a tough task ahead of them against the Grizzlies and I expect JaMychal to capitalize on what should be another 30 minute night. Assuming JaMychal is guarded by anyone other than Marvin Williams, I like his chances for such a low price.

Otto Porter – SF, vs UTA (DK:$6,300 / FD:$6,200)

When I was looking at the games, I knew athleticism was going to be the reason the Wizards beat the Suns. Yes, the Suns have versatile talent but an athletic, tall, lanky, forward is going to dominate this game in the hustle department. With the amount shots that are going to be taken in this game, I'm hoping for another Porter triple-double. Thats optimistic but even his floor seems high seeing how Phoenix has little other than T.J. Warren to possibly stop Porter.

Kevin Durant – SF/PF, @ IND (DK:$9,600 / FD:$9,900)

This should be obvious. Pacers are coming off an overtime win over the Thunder and now they face the Warriors. With Paul George and C.J. Miles most likely out, Kevin Durant is going to be one of the top plays simply due to the lack of depth and defense Indiana has shown lately. It doesn't matter who decided to guard Durant, Durant has the upper hand.

DFS Centers for DraftKings & FanDuel

Marcin Gortat – C, vs. PHO (DK:$6,100 / FD:$6,600)

MArcin Gortat has proved me wrong this season but being a consistent source of defense and rebounds. I expected most superstar centers to dominate Gortat but he has held his own and I trust him enough to have a good game against Phoenix. I guess you could say I am stacking the Washington/Phoenix game and rightfully so. Two of the higher paced teams with athleticism and youth as a common factor between the teams. This will be a shootout and I think Gortat will easily go for a double-double.

Marc Gasol – C, @ CHA (DK:$6,400 / FD:$6,700)

Marc Gasol must want to go back to the All-Star Game because he's making a song case. He has shown off his shooting, defense, and ability to knock down shots near the end of games. There isn't much more you could ask for and while Gasol's price is moderate, I'm riding him until he gives me a reason not too. Although the Grizzlies do have a slower pace, Gasol is a massive part of the offense and contributes across the board.

Andre Drummond – C, vs. HOU (DK:$7,800 / FD:$8,100)

This is one of the most dominant centers in the league going up against Clint Capela. Not to knock on Capela but there is a very small chance that Capela is able to stop Drummond consistently. Drummond is starting to hit the point where his price is a tad to high for him to make value but when the matchup is favorable, its hard not to go with Drummond.
