Patrick Surtain Cleared to Play in Week 13
Denver Broncos cornerback Patrick Surtain (pectoral) has no injury designation in Week 13 and will play on Sunday Night Football against the hosting Washington Commanders, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Surtain got in two full practices to end the week and will be playing for the first time since straining a pectoral muscle in the Week 8 win over the Dallas Cowboys. The Broncos' already strong defense will also be getting linebacker Alex Singleton (illness) back for their primetime meeting against a Commanders team that will once again be without starting quarterback Jayden Daniels (elbow). The return of Surtain, who won NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2024, is not going to be good news for Commanders receiver Terry McLaurin, who is returning for the first time since aggravating a quad injury in Week 8.
