Nick Dunlap Hoping to Turn Woes Around at Sanderson Farms Championship
After an emphatic rise to the pinnacle of the sport, 2025 has been plagued by terrible driving for Nick Dunlap, who ended the regular season ranked 165th in strokes gained off the tee (-1.584). Everything else hasn't been nearly as detrimental, but missing 11 of 16 cuts since March puts into perspective the importance of solid play with the big stick. It's a problem that doesn't seem close to finding a solution. Considering the trends elsewhere in his game, a case could be made that he isn't a bad flyer pick this week after a T28 here last year. However, the detriment caused by his inability to get the ball in play makes him a hard trigger to pull until things show some sign of life.
