KeAndre Lambert-Smith, Usage Uncertain for Week 1
Keandre Lambert-Smith is a player to watch as the season progresses, but his fantasy value remains low heading into Week 1. The fifth-round rookie out of Auburn had an impressive preseason, often outshining fellow rookie Tre Harris with his production. Lambert-Smith flashed for over 100 yards and a touchdown during the preseason, building on a strong 2024 collegiate season where he caught 50 passes for 981 yards and eight touchdowns. However, his usage in the Chargers' season opener is uncertain as he competes for playing time with Derius Davis and Harris. While his preseason performance was noteworthy, the Chargers' offense is loaded with established talent in Ladd McConkey, Keenan Allen, and Quentin Johnston. RotoBaller projects him as WR91 this week. Fantasy managers should keep an eye on him throughout the season, but not consider him for their starting lineups for Week 1.
