Daylen Lile Absent from Monday's Lineup
Daylen Lile (illness) is absent from the starting lineup ahead of Monday's game against the New York Yankees. Nats' interim manager Miguel Cairo said Lile is sitting out this game due to an illness. The rookie outfielder is hopeful to get back in the lineup following this contest. Lile has been decent with the bat, slashing .263/.312/.396 with three home runs, 22 RBI, and seven steals in 63 games. Robert Hassell III will serve as the designated hitter and bat eighth versus right-hander Cam Schlittler on Monday.
