Minnesota Twins shortstop prospect Marek Houston has been promoted to High-A Cedar Rapids after a short but productive stint at Single-A Fort Myers. The Twins' 2025 first-round draft pick went 20-for-54 (.370) with nine RBI, 10 runs scored, and six steals in just 12 games for the Mighty Mussels. The Twins' eighth-ranked prospect was the 16th overall selection in this year's Draft, and is coming off a season at Wake Forest where he hit .354 with 15 home runs and 19 stolen bases while walking (46) just as much as he struck out (46). A quick promotion like that shows the confidence the team has in his abilities, so dynasty managers should keep a close eye on the 6-foot-3 slugger in the event he moves fast through the system.--Jarod RuppRead More News
