Luis Robert Jr. Returning in Short Order
Luis Robert Jr. (hamstring) should return within the next couple of days if "all goes well." The 27-year-old was placed on the 10-day injured list a few weeks ago, but has progressed well from a hamstring strain that ailed him -- a notoriously tricky injury. Whether he'll make it back for the final game of Chicago's home series with the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday remains to be seen, but it shouldn't be too long after that, barring any setbacks. He's had a rough go to start the season, hitting a paltry .185 (.583 OPS) with a 30.9% strikeout rate. However, there's hope for a rebound, considering Robert Jr. has grossly underperformed a .232 expected batting average.
