Nathaniel Lowe Homers, Drives in Four on Sunday
Nathaniel Lowe had a big day in his team's 13-7 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday. Lowe went 1-for-3 with a homer, a walk, and four RBI, but it wasn't enough in the high-scoring loss. The veteran launched a three-run homer in the third inning to give Washington an early 3-0 lead and later tacked on a sacrifice fly in the ninth. Lowe is slashing .229/.296/.403 with 13 homers, 32 runs, 51 RBI, and one stolen base across 293 at-bats in his first season in Washington. He can be regarded as a cheap source of power numbers, although his low batting average remains an issue.
