Jordan Love 2025 Fantasy Football Outlook: Strong Mid-Late-Round Rebound Option
Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers finished eighth in scoring over the previous two seasons, but did so in very different ways. In 2023, the 26-year-old broke out, tossing 4,159 yards and a 32:11 TD:INT ratio. However, the arrival of running back Josh Jacobs and Love's own MCL and groin injuries were the perfect storm of regression for him in 2024. Before the Packers' Week 10 bye, Love averaged 34.3 pass attempts per game and threw 15 touchdowns in seven outings. Following the bye, those figures dipped to 23.1 attempts per contest and ten TDs in eight appearances. Furthermore, Green Bay scored 23 times on the ground, 13 more than the mark they posted the season prior. It's unclear which version of the Packers' offense we'll see in 2025, but their offseason moves could hint at shifting toward a more balanced approach after running the ball at the third-highest rate last season (50.69%). In addition to selecting Matthew Golden, bringing another element to the offense alongside fellow wideouts Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, and Romeo Doubs, defensive back Jaire Alexander was released, which projects to affect a defense that allowed the fifth-fewest points per game a year ago. Love has an offense chock-full of viable weapons, and though we may not see him score like a top-five fantasy signal-caller again, his finish as the QB17 a season ago does not reflect his actual talent. He's RotoBaller's QB9 and presents as an intriguing mid-late-round option.
