Demarcus Robinson 2025 Fantasy Football Outlook: Potential Early-Season Contributor
Demarcus Robinson joined the organization on a one-year deal this offseason following a productive final campaign with the Los Angeles Rams. The 30-year-old secured 31 of his 64 targets for 505 yards and seven touchdowns, both figures being career-highs. Now, he entered a 49ers' wide receiver room that could be without Brandon Aiyuk (knee) for the start of the season as he recovers from a torn ACL. Ricky Pearsall (hamstring) has also been banged up this offseason, so it wouldn't be a total surprise to see Robinson contribute early in the 2025 campaign. He'll have to hold youngsters Jacob Cowing and Jordan Watkins off, but he should be considered the favorite to win the WR3 role (while Aiyuk is out). He's unlikely to be a consistent fantasy football contributor, but he has best ball upside as a red zone target in Kyle Shanahan's offense. Consider him a late-round dart throw entering his ninth NFL campaign.
