Kimani Vidal 2025 Fantasy Football Outlook: Lower On The Depth Chart After Disappointing Rookie Year
Kimani Vidal, a rookie last season, to eventually prove himself enough to take on at least a complimentary role in L.A.'s backfield. That didn't happen. Instead, he wasn't even able to beat out 3rd-string RB Hassan Haskins for a role. In the 2025 offseason, the Chargers signed workhorse running back Najee Harris, then immediately drafted workhorse running back Omarion Hampton in the 1st round of the 2025 NFL Draft. Vidal is little more than a depth piece at this point. Even if there are injuries to two of the backs ahead of him on the depth chart, Vidal won't have a major role in the offense. It's even possible the team could sign someone off the street that could give him a run for his money. He might need time to develop, or he might just not be the caliber of player that can earn meaningful regular-season reps, so he's best left for a bench spot in a very deep dynasty fantasy football league.
