Miami Marlins manager Skip Schumaker was named the 2023 National League Manager of the Year on Tuesday. The Marlins had not posted a winning record in a full season since 2009, but Schumaker was able to earn a Wild Card spot with an 84-78 record in his first big-league season as a manager. Schumaker became the eighth manager to win the honor in their first season with a team. The Marlins have a starting rotation filled with young potential and traded for offensive support during the season, so it will be interesting to see where Schumaker can take them in 2024.--Connelly Doan - RotoBallerRead More News
