NFL DFS Rankings for DraftKings, FanDuel - Week 10 Picks for Cash and GPP Contests

Christian McCaffrey - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

Doug's Week 10 NFL DFS rankings for DraftKings, FanDuel. His top daily fantasy football rankings and DFS lineup picks for cash games and GPP contests.

Another week, another slate where some major teams are absent. The Raiders and Bills play in island games, while the Rams, Chiefs, Dolphins, and Eagles are on a bye. Unlike last weekend where there was only one obvious game to stack, this week there are a few more games with decent totals. There are four matchups that project to reach 45 or more points, which should help spread out some stack exposure.

There’s an abnormal amount of value at the quarterback position, leading to cash lineups that should feature high-priced wide receivers and running backs. To get contrarian, it may make sense to spend up at quarterback and tight end while trying to find some value at the skill positions. There should be a lot of game theory at play on this slate, and lineup-building skills should rise to the top.

There are quite a few great plays available on DK for Week 10, but my goal is to create a hierarchy of plays so you know who to prioritize when building your lineups! Also, be sure to check out all of our other great NFL DFS articles and NFL DFS tools to help you win big!

DraftKings NFL DFS Cash Rankings - Quarterbacks

1. Sam Howell (Washington Commanders - $5900)

Look at the quarterbacks at the top of the price list this weekend and tell me which one feels safe. There’s no Mahomes, no Hurts, no Allen, no Tua. Lamar Jackson and Justin Herbert face tough matchups. That leaves spend-down options like Dak Prescott and my choice, Sam Howell.

Howell has scored 18 or more DraftKings points in four of his last five starts, which is a similar floor to Justin Herbert, but at a $1800 savings. Howell has been allowed to throw far more than anyone anticipated and that volume carried home three games of 300 or more passing yards in his last five starts. The Seahawks have struggled against the run recently, but they haven’t faced a strong passing team in a number of weeks.

Howell can make things happen with his feet and the Commanders have underrated pass catchers. This game has a decent total, Howell is underpriced, and cash games are all about taking advantage of value volume spots. This is one of those spots.

2. Dak Prescott (Dallas Cowboys - $6700)

3. Taylor Heinicke (Atlanta Falcons - $5100)

Others in consideration: Justin Herbert, Joe Burrow

DraftKings NFL DFS GPP Rankings - Quarterbacks

1. Justin Herbert (Los Angeles Chargers - $7700)

While Justin Herbert may not be ideal for cash this weekend, he’s a perfect option for a GPP. He’s playing at home and is involved in one of the games with a high projected score. He’s also pretty easy to stack as his target tree is Keenan Allen, Austin Ekeler, and a bunch of players you won’t want to use in fantasy. He’s been strong at home this year, scoring 22.4 points per game, and has scored less than 20 DraftKings points only twice all year.

The Lions have a pretty good defense, but they have struggled a bit on the road this year. They’ve allowed 55 more passing yards and four more real-life points per game away from Ford Field. They got absolutely lit up by the Ravens a couple of weeks ago, and the Chargers have a higher passing upside than Baltimore did. A Chargers stack also has two of the best bring-back options in Amon-Ra St. Brown and Sam LaPorta, making Herbert a great option all around.

2. Trevor Lawrence (Jacksonville Jaguars - $6000)

3. Sam Howell (Washington Commanders - $5900)

Others in consideration: Lamar Jackson, Jared Goff, Dak Prescott, Kyler Murray, Baker Mayfield

DraftKings NFL DFS Cash Rankings - Running Backs

1. Christian McCaffrey (San Francisco 49ers - $9200)

On a week where there are few premium players on the slate, it makes sense to get the best fantasy option in the sport on your cash lineup. He’s extremely pricey, but fading Christian McCaffrey could put you in a big hole if he has a great weekend.

CMC has been a monster all season, scoring a touchdown in every game and scoring less than 20 DraftKings points only twice. His passing game volume is consistently strong, with three or more targets in every game this year. Do you really need to be told that Christian McCaffrey is good? He’s especially worth his price this week as no other running back comes close to giving you the same floor/ceiling combination as he does. Find your value elsewhere and lock him in.

2. Joe Mixon (Cincinnati Bengals - $6200)

3. Travis Etienne Jr. (Jacksonville Jaguars - $7100)

Others in consideration: Tony Pollard, Rachaad White

DraftKings NFL DFS GPP Rankings - Running Backs

1. Tony Pollard (Dallas Cowboys - $7300)

Tony Pollard has done nothing this year to warrant a $7300 price point, especially over the last five weeks where he’s scored double-digit DraftKings points only once. The Dallas passing game has been on fire, particularly a white-hot CeeDee Lamb. Who is going to want to roster an overpriced Dallas running back under these conditions?

This is exactly what makes him a prime GPP play this weekend. He’s got a fantastic matchup against a terrible Giants defense that has allowed 120 or more rushing yards in all but two games this year. Pollard’s passing game usage has remained steady, with three or more targets in all but one game this season. You can roster both him and the Cowboys' defense as a third stack, while you use a game with a higher total as your primary stack.

2. Aaron Jones (Green Bay Packers - $6500)

3. Rachaad White (Tampa Bay Buccaneers - $5800)

Others in consideration: Christian McCaffrey, Travis Etienne, Austin Ekeler, Kenneth Walker, Jaylen Warren, Keaton Mitchell

DraftKings NFL DFS Cash Rankings - Wide Receivers

1. Noah Brown (Houston Texans - $3700)

I had Noah Brown as an “other” play last weekend, and I should have used him far more than I did. After his monster week, his price barely jumped and it’s now at the point where it’s simply a stupid price. He’s been consistently productive when he’s been on the field for Houston this year, with four or more targets in every game he’s played. He may not be the alpha in the Houston passing game, but he is the second starting receiver ahead of Tank Dell.

If he has a rough week, he won’t sink you at his price point, but if he continues to get five to six targets per week, he is severely underpriced. Houston should have to throw this weekend to keep up with the Bengals' offense, so it’s likely that he will see those five or more targets once again in Week 10.

2. Terry McLaurin (Washington Commanders - $5800)

3. Jaxon Smith-Njigba (Seattle Seahawks - $4100)

Others in consideration: Chris Godwin, Jahan Dotson, Diontae Johnson, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Keenan Allen, DeAndre Hopkins

DraftKings NFL DFS GPP Rankings - Wide Receivers

1. Mike Evans (Tampa Bay Buccaneers - $7200)

The Tennessee Titans have a defense that cannot stop opposing passing games. This has been an issue for them for two years and it’s a situation we are going to keep attacking. Mike Evans is far from a safe option, but he’s got tremendous upside as a deep threat who is also strong in the red zone. Baker Mayfield has been playing far better than anyone has expected this year, and he’s helped Evans to once again be an overlooked stud pass-catching option in fantasy.

Evans has scored 10 or more fantasy points in 75% of his games this year, with 17 or more fantasy points in half of his games. That’s the kind of steady upside that we want to look for in a matchup against a defense that’s as generous to receivers as Tennessee. You can cheaply stack Evans with either Cade Otton or Rachaad White and bring it back with DeAndre Hopkins (who is clearly the top option for Will Levis).

2. Calvin Ridley (Jacksonville Jaguars - $5600)

3. Amon-Ra St. Brown (Detroit Lions - $8300)

Others in consideration: Tyler Lockett, Keenan Allen, Tee Higgins, Christian Kirk, Jahan Dotson, Zay Flowers, Marquise Brown, DeAndre Hopkins

DraftKings NFL DFS Rankings - Tight Ends

1. Trey McBride (Arizona Cardinals - $3500)

Trey McBride doesn’t have the upside, or even the floor, of Dalton Schultz or Sam LaPorta but he’s highly involved in the Cardinals offense and he comes at a much cheaper price than either of the two stud options this weekend. Saving at the tight end position is going to be a priority on this slate, especially in cash, so we can afford to get decent skill position players.

McBride has five or more targets in each of his last four games, and he had that success with inferior quarterback play. This week he gets Kyler Murray back, and Murray loves to target his tight end. McBride may actually see more work than expected, as Murray isn’t going to be running nearly as much as he was prior to his injury. That means more goal-line looks for the big-bodied tight end, upping his ceiling without sacrificing his floor.

2. Dalton Schultz (Houston Texans - $4900)

3. Sam LaPorta (Detroit Lions - $5700)

Others in consideration: Tayson Hill, George Kittle, Jonnu Smith, Cade Otton

DraftKings NFL DFS Rankings - D/ST

1. Dallas Cowboys - $4100

It’s going to be really hard to get them to fit in a cash lineup, but if you can find a way to fit them into tournament lineups, it’s worth paying up and eating this chalk. The New York Giants' offense is missing their top two quarterbacks, their top tight end, and they don’t have a wide receiver worth squat.

Tommy Devito is horrendous, and the only real issue you may have with using Dallas is a lack of passing volume because the Giants don’t trust Devito to throw the ball. Even with his lack of pass attempts, Devito managed to throw two picks last weekend. The Giants also allowed six sacks to a Raiders defense that isn’t nearly as talented as the Cowboys. Never say never, but it’s hard to see a scenario where the Cowboys' defense doesn’t get you double-digit fantasy points.

2. Cleveland Browns - $3000

3. Arizona Cardinals - $2500
