Texas NASCAR Practice Speeds, Notes, and Lap Averages

Joey Logano - NASCAR DFS Picks, Betting Picks, Daily Fantasy NASCAR

NASCAR Practice Speeds, Notes, and Lap Averages. Use these NASCAR stats and info to build lineups on DraftKings for the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 at Texas Motor Speedway.

The NASCAR Cup Series ran a single practice session at Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday morning in preparation for the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 on Sunday afternoon.

The field was split into two groups for this practice session.

Below you'll find the two practice groups, key notes from the practice session and the practice speeds for all drivers.

Important Practice Notes

Christopher Bell - With a handful of minutes left for his practice group, Christopher Bell spun out. He didn't hit anything and there wasn't any damage reported to his No. 20 Toyota so it shouldn't be a big deal.

Zane Smith - Zane Smith is back for his seventh NASCAR Cup Series start this season. He will be driving the No. 38 Ford for Front Row Motorsports. Smith currently has just two finishes better than 31st-place this season: a 13th-place result in the Daytona 500 and a 10th-place finish at Charlotte--a track that is very similar to Texas.

Todd Gilliland - Todd Gilliland won't be driving his normal No. 38 Ford this weekend thanks to the aforementioned Zane Smith taking over that ride. Instead, Gilliland will be racing the No. 51 Ford for Rick Ware Racing. This is a significant downgrade in equipment and should be factored in when making any fantasy or betting decisions involving Gilliland.
