Another key domino in NASCAR's Silly Season is expected to be officially announced soon, as it is expected that Harrison Burton will be returning to the No. 21 Ford for Wood Brothers Racing next season. The 2024 season will be the third year for the driver and the organization. During his rookie season in 2022, Burton had a somewhat-impressive average finish of 22.8 but has regressed a bit this year, with an average finish of 24.2 through the first 27 races. Recently, Burton stated, "I'm trying to focus on the team we have now and the guys we're working with now and trying to build that and act like that's going to be the future," Burton said. "If I could do anything, the goal for me would be to be back here so I'm just going to continue down that path and try and keep building in the right direction. I feel like we've had some decent weekends recently." --Jordan McAbee
