Chase Elliott is facing the growing reality that the chase for the Owners Standings may be his reality for 2023. However, the Hendrick Motorsports Racing driver has a chance at Daytona. Elliott and his No. 9 car have never won on the 2.5-mile track yet they have finished second and eighth in two of the past three August events. Elliott barely missed out on winning in 2020 and had probably the fastest race car in 2021 before problems arose. Last year Elliott led 31 laps before an accident ended his run. Elliott starts from the 23rd position on Saturday night but in 2020 he did begin 27th. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
