Mike Rockenfeller is driving the No. 42 Chevrolet for Legacy Motor Club this weekend at Indy Road Course after the organization and Noah Gragson parted ways earlier this week. Just like Gragson all season long, though, Rockenfeller struggled to find speed on Saturday. In practice, he was the slowest car between the two sessions, nearly two full seconds slower than Michael McDowell, who paced the session. Rockenfeller has two Cup Series starts under his belt, finishing in 30th-place at Watkins Glen and then in 29th-place at the Charlotte Roval last year. Rockenfeller will start from 37th-place on Sunday for the Verizon 200 at The Brickyard and will likely need attrition to achieve a respectable finish.--Jordan McAbee
