Harrison Bader Exits After Being Hit By Pitch
10 months agoNew York Yankees outfielder Harrison Bader (back) left the game early on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Angels after being hit by a pitch in the back in the top of the sixth inning. Isiah Kiner-Falefa took over for Bader in center field. Until we get an update on Bader's status, fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day. With an off day on Thursday, Bader could return to the lineup on Friday against the visiting Kansas City Royals if his injury is minor. The 29-year-old can't seem to catch a break with injuries over recent seasons, and he's played in 49 games in 2023 in his first full year in the Bronx. Bader went 0-for-2 with a strikeout in Wednesday's game before leaving to drop his season average to .243 with a .698 OPS.
