Last week, Christiaan Bezuidenhout failed to make the cut at the John Deere Classic, despite finishing in second place in 2022. However, he aims to bounce back from this disappointment and prepare for the upcoming Open Championship by participating in the Genesis Scottish Open. Bezuidenhout performed well in this tournament last year, finishing at T16. His impressive iron play was highlighted in his ninth-place ranking in strokes gained around-the-green and 67th place in strokes gained on approach. He has also demonstrated his skills in strokes gained per shot, ranking in the 90th percentile, and poor shot avoidance percentage from approach shots in the fairway from 150-200 yards, ranking in the 89th percentile.
