Welcome back to Thunder Dan's Best Bets! Saturday's picks really pushed me up over that .500 mark in style as we swept the card with two ATS wins, a game total, our parlay, and our teaser all hit! It's time to keep things rolling as we have eight games on this Tuesday night and I'm determined to find us the best spots that are worthy of some wagers.
I'm only picking sides and totals in this article three days a week, so consider subscribing to my sports betting substack here as I put out some DFS stuff and props on most evenings from Monday through Friday, too.
In this article, I'll be providing my favorite picks against the spread, game totals, parlays, and teasers for NBA games that tip-off at 7:00 PM EST on Tuesday, March 14th.

NBA Betting Picks: Against the Spread
Brooklyn Nets (+1.5) vs. Oklahoma City Thunder (231.5 total)
You should know how my process works when betting on OKC.
Check the slate. Is OKC playing?
If yes, then is SGA in the lineup?
If yes, then BET ON THE THUNDER.
All kidding aside, OKC has been such a great team to bet on this year, no team has been better against the spread. And they have not just been about SGA's emergence either, as Josh Giddey and rookie Jalen Williams have been playing outstanding basketball, too.
Brooklyn has been up and down and while I will never count them out entirely, I think this version of the Thunder is easily better than this version of the Nets.
OKC has covered 60% of their home games ATS and they have the best +/- margin in the league at +6 points. Give me the Thunder (and no the Thunder in "Thunder Dan" has nothing to do with OKC, but maybe it should after this year).
The Pick: Thunder -1.5 (-110)
Los Angeles Lakers (+1) @ New Orleans Pelicans (225.5 total)
I won't be surprised to see the Lakers as favorites here at some point today. I grabbed them at +100 when they opened and there has already been some line movement in their favor. The Pelicans could get Brandon Ingram back tonight, which would certainly help their cause quite a bit, otherwise, they are going to need massive efforts from CJ McCollum and the red-hot Trey Murphy III to win this one.
The Pelicans have been getting hammered inside by opposing big men, which sets up for a big night potentially for Anthony Davis. When you consider how well D'Angelo Russell is playing since coming back and the contributions that LA is getting from unsung heroes like Austin Reaves and Dennis Schroder, I like the Lakers' chances of keeping their playoff hopes alive and picking up a tough road win here.
LA has the 2-1 series advantage on the season and their superior recent form (+4 net rating compared to New Orleans's -6 rating) gives me some confidence that they will have the advantage here in this one, too.
The Pick: Lakers ML (-105)
New York Knicks (-2) @ Portland Trail Blazers (??? total)
This game still doesn't have a total yet, and there's a possibility that some Portland guys could miss here as Damian Lillard and Jerami Grant are both questionable. I am expecting the Knicks to be without Jalen Brunson yet again, but I don't think it matters. This New York team is playing as well as they have been all season and have even been battling without Brunson of late.
New York fell to Portland in overtime by three points when they first met back in November, but these teams are in very different spots now compared to back then. New York is finishing the season strong and pretty much locked into a top-6 seed in the East, while Portland is falling out of contention out West fast.
The Knicks have been absolute road warriors this year with the best ATS mark in the NBA at 23-12. They should find a way to get it done tonight and their defense has been one of the main reasons why they've managed to be so successful this season. Portland's defense has let them down and has been even worse since Josh Hart went over to New York. Nurkic hasn't done much since coming back to the lineup and I am just not sure Portland has any answers right now other than hope for Dame to go out and score 50 and outscore their opponents.
