Vancouver Canucks winger Ilya Mikheyev played his final game of the season Friday against Columbus, as he is set to have surgery on his left knee. Canucks general manager Patrik Allvin revealed on Friday that Mikheyev had incredibly been playing through an ACL tear in his left knee, which he suffered all the way back in September during the team's first preseason game. Despite the injury, Mikheyev was able to make 46 appearances for the Canucks and scored his 13th goal of the season in Friday's 5-2 win. He concludes his first season in Vancouver with 28 points, and Mikheyev is expected to be fully ready for training camp next fall.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
