San Jose Sharks defenseman Erik Karlsson had another productive outing against the Kings on Wednesday, finishing a 4-3 loss with a power-play assist. He became only the ninth defenseman in NHL history to register a 10-game assist streak in road games. The Swedish star also matched Joe Thornton's franchise record for the longest road assist streak. Based on offensive production, Karlsson is playing the best hockey of his career this season, boasting 43 assists and 56 points in 43 games. Nobody is getting near him on the defensemen scoring list and Karlsson has even nailed down a top-10 spot for himself on the overall scoring charts.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
