The PGA Tour's breakout star from 2022 will make his Tournament of Champions debut in 2023 without picking up a PGA Tour victory. Cameron Young earned his way into the event due to his FedEx Cup ranking last season. Young recorded seven top-10 finishes last year, highlighted by a second-place finish at The Open Championship, which was good enough for a 19th place finish in the FedEx Cup standings. Young made both of his cuts during the fall swing, with a best finish of T23 at the CJ Cup. Looking at this event, Young should have a great chance for success this week. During the fall swing, Young hit over 70% of greens with a top-30 proximity to the hole. Last season, Young hit well under 65% of greens, by far the worst area of his game. If Young can carry his approach game from the fall to Kapalua, Young might be a dark horse to get his first PGA Tour win this week. --Kasey Kuhrts - RotoBaller
